We stayed at Novotel Basel City during a family trip and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern — ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Basel. One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, especially those on the night shift, who went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. The location is also convenient, with easy access to public transport and key attractions around the city.

This a children friendly hotel with clean rooms, spacious bathroom and shower, delicious breakfast with a lot of variety. Great connection with public transport to the city center. Very helpful and polite staff. We could enjoy nice dinner at the restaurant that was in the hotel , which is very convenient during a stay with kids.

Rooms are decent with facilities for tea and coffee. Remember to ask for toiletries from housekeeping/reception as these are not automatically placed in room. European Breakfast buffet was large with lot of varieties. Do not expect indian food items (for indian travellers). Location is the best part of it. Quite close to SBB Bahnoff (Swiss railway station) around 800 metres . Tram stoppages are just opposite to the entrance (50 metres)

The location is a little further out from the old town and city but it was handy being quite close the the train station. Loved the free euro bus included from the airport. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day to a very high standard. Very comfortable bed and amazing pillows (the larger firm ones I loved). The breakfast was expensive but very good with a large variety. The bathroom was spacious.

My time at this hotel was truly delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. For those arriving by car, having their own parking lot and being able to take the elevator directly from the parking to your room is a lifesaver. The breakfast offered in the mornings was both filling and very delicious. The hotel's location was also fantastic, allowing me to easily reach everything around. And of course, the rooms were much cleaner and tidier than I expected!

Booking.com suggested we had breakfast, when quoted and booked we were happy to pay more as the quote included breakfast however we hadn’t noticed on booking confirmation didn’t include breakfast, unsure why this changed however we weren’t happy that breakfast wasn’t included when quoted it was. This is a booking.com error that the hotel should be aware of misleading sales. We chose the hotel over another because of the breakfast included in quote, however we could have saved money and better location if we had known breakfast wasn’t included.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help, making my family feel very welcome. The location was excellent—right across the road from the tram '15', which took me directly into the city centre with ease. Breakfast was also great, with a good selection to start the day.

Very clean room, very nice lobby, friendly staff. The public transport passes were a very nice touch but we were only in Basel briefly and, as foreign travelers at the end of our trip, were hoping e could walk instead, but the hotel is not in a very convenient walking distance to restaurants, sightseeing, etc.

The Breakfast was delicious, very filling, good variety of hot and cold breakfast,croissants, donuts, various types of bread,fruits and yogurts. Room was very comfortable. We had a pleasant stay.Basel Novotel is very convenient to explore Switzerland. With the Basel card and proximity to Tram and Basel train station you can explore the main cities in the country with ease.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was overall impressed with the experience, especially considering the price. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bedding was fresh and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay.
